Hypnotism My work is having a winter event tomorrow night and as entertainment, they've hired a hypnotist. I've seen an entertainment hypnotist before and wasn't able to go under. Even though I didn't participate, it was a blast to see other people make asses of themselves.

As someone who quit a few years ago, I'd say cold-turkey is the way to go (he'll climb the walls for the first several weeks, but it gets easier after that). The true key, though, is actually wanting to quit. I'd tried before, but - truthfully - I wasn't motivated. Bombard him with images of tracheotomies and nose tubes. I have a friend who is a hypnotherapist...that I have seen a few times. I saw her for nausea when I was pregnant..and then again for sleep and stress after the baby was here...and it was wonderful. I have a cd now i can plan and hypnotize myself when i need to feel totally relaxed. I'm feelin kind of n-a-s-t-y

Thanks. poor girl..i had that too...the hypnosis helps for it but you have to keep doing it...they make arm bands for sea sickness i think...those work wonders for morning sickness I'm feelin kind of n-a-s-t-y
