I'm going to have to walk to the store. I don't want to leave my cozy home. But I simply can't make breakfast and coffee until I know I'll have my smoke to enjoy after it.

Other than that I have an entire funfilled day planned all indoors. Until I go see Cloverfield with Darin and Anxy and friends tonight. And even so, I'll be driving into a heated parking garage to get to the theatre.

I hate winter...i hate being cold!!!

I made it!

I put jeans on over my flannel PJ pants, a hoodie on over my long underwear top, my warm winter boots, my coat, a scarf pulled up over my nose, my hat, my sunglasses and my mittens that were brought back for me from Iceland. No bit of my skin was exposed. And you know what? It felt COLD walking in the sun still!!

My tea is now steeping.

we had it yesterday. there was no way i was going outside.
slipper socks over socks, fleece over top, and blanket wrapped around legs.
it's a balmy -18 today. no single digit temps till thursday.

I feel for ya. It's -4 here in Iowa and no amount of body butter seems to really be moisturizing my dry skin. My heat is running continually but I feel cold drafts from every direction in my house. I'm supposed to go to a work event tonight but I don't even want to shower because it's so cold. I just want to cuddle up in a fleece blanket, watch a movie and lounge in my own stench.
