This movie is SCARY: El Orfanato (The Orphanage)

I saw it last night. I was scurred. boxed

Directed by newcomer Juan Antonio Bayona. Produced by Guillermo del Toro. What's the deal with Guillermo and dead kids? The Devil's Backbone, Pan's Labyrinth and now this one?

i read a review of this in the new yorker and i was intrigued. apparently a relative of charlie chaplin is in the cast? his daughter? granddaughter? something like that, but the review said the family resemblence was eerily obvious. oh, and that it was a good movie. lol

I just looked that up. Geraldine Chaplin plays a psychic in the film that gets hired to solve the case of the missing boy. Interesting!

Yeah, out of all of these so called "horror" movies out (like these terrible remakes of Asian horrors), I was saying that this one seems the most interesting one. I doubt I'll be scared though. hah! Did you curl up in bed with your teddy afterwards? tease
