I got all my GCSE's but I really struggled with Maths. I just couldnt get my head around it nor understood its principles. Why on Earth was it important to find out the individual value of 1 egg?
I did enjoy P.E. as I like sport and competition. I was also fond of Languages, Drama, Art and English Literature. There's Joy In Expatriation.

Ex-Moderator | I really did well in everything, but while I enjoyed english, drama, music and humanities the most, my most natural talents seemed to lie in math. So I gave up on math and science courses once I had the required amount in (even though I was in all advanced classes) and my senior year I even took an art class. I kinda wish I would have persued those more. |

I excelled in language-, art- and social science-related stuff. I hated math and it hated me. I enjoyed the hard sciences, but the math component made some of them challenging for me. I ROCKED in astronomy, though! And I was pretty good in PE anywhere a ball was not involved. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

Liked and was good at English literature, history, geography, and P.E.
I enjoyed tech but was completely useless at it. I just used to glue and solder random stuff. My 'projects' were always unfinished, just blocks of wood glued together with the odd bit carved out of them. I was good at graphics though. I was useless at maths and sciences but managed to scrape by in those. I really enjoyed Russian. Communication Studies in sixth-form was the best laugh. Just roleplays or turning common sense into a flow diagram.

I remember the clock I made had no hands or batteries or anything. It was two blocks of wood glued together, with numbers painted on. Another memory that I recall clearly to this day was one time I was merrily sawing away at a workbench for no good reason. I looked up and one of the tech teachers, I forget his name, was standing there watching me. He didn't come over, didn't say anything to me, but just gave me this jaded look like 'why are you doing that? why am I here? what is the point of all this?'
