I know you want to try and be friends for the sake of the situation but I personally think you should stay away from him....because it seems as if everytime you are ready go to see him in the future, all he's gonna do is re-open your wounds! Then there was talk of going dancing after, but it's simply too cold. Dancing means drinking and drinking means taking public transportation and I'm simply NOT bundling up in all that garb to go to the club, nor trying to catch a cab in the wee hours by myself in that kind of weather.

In other words, I'm simply too old.
