i've never actually felt entitled to a refund because i didn't like a movie. it's not the theater's fault the movie was crap. shrug

of course, there was the time the film burned up in the middle of watching "rushmore". that was refund-worthy. i think they just gave everyone two free admission tickets or some crap like that.

I bet you liked 'The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou'..... lol

there are a lot of things i like that i bet would get a lol emoticon from you. hug

Napoleon Dynamite.

That was some mess.

Also, Monster's Ball. (Two characters with hellish existences who also are diametrically opposed to each other unite over sex and suddenly change? hmm Really? Nawwwww... )

There's Something About Mary.

I didn't actually see it in the theater b/c I knew I would hate it, but my friend kept raving about how hilarious it was and how I had to watch it, so she rented it one time when we were hanging out. I found it decidedly unfunny.

have to agree there - it could have been a really good movie but was a load of bollocks - very disappointed with that one!

The Matrix (the most overrated sci-fi movie ever made and has been woefully misintrepreted by the ubergeeks as being somehow profound. Read "Neuromancer" or anything by Philip Dick if you want some REAL sci-fi).

Gladiator

Batman & Robin (but EVERYONE wanted their money back)

The Last Kiss

The Return of the King (I'm with Randal Graves on this one — "There's only one return and it ain't "of the king" it's "of the Jedi.")

One afternoon i was at a loose end so i decided to go to the movies by myself.
I went to see The Time Machine and I was the only person in the entire movie theatre.Whats more I had to go and complain because they didnt change the screen to widescreen.Ive never been so embarrased.

The film was shit too.

I also fell asleep during Lake Placid.I woke up right at the end and my girlfriend told me i was snoring lol
Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

The first time I saw Napoleon Dynamite, I didn't like it. Couldn't figure out how people thought it was so hilarious - I just thought it was dumb.

But, oddly enough, Napoleon Dynamite seems to be one of those movies you have to see more than once to appreciate. One of my friends (who had recommended it) told me to watch it again...and she was right. I laughed a lot at it the second time - mainly because I just went with it and didn't try to figure it out.

That's the beauty of the movie. You're not supposed to go in and try to analyze it and figure it out. It's the absolute randomness of it that makes it so hilarious lol

as much as I love Halle, I agree.....Catwoman is one of those flicks thats so stupid that you can't stop watching...you're sitting there hoping against hope that it just HAS to get better....that it CAN'T be THAT bad!!!.....

...and when the credits roll, you know that you've just been had....nod
