Hasbro in conflict with Facebook over Scrabulous In the midst of all the furory about Prince getting leeway to have his vids removed from video sharing sites, I just now saw a clip about Hasbro doing the equivalent of "cease and desist" with Facebook over their game Scrabulous. Hasbro is claiming that Facebook is stealing from them, and Facebook users are following suit, alongside PFU fans, in saying that they won't put up with it.
This makes me think that Prince has more of a point now than before I knew this information, and for one good reason - these days, people have really taken to "procuring" anything that isn't bolted to the ground, and this now includes cyberspace. Hasbro says that Facebook didn't get license for Scrabulous beforehand. Overall, I feel that with the advent of the internet, a steady decline in ethics has been allowed to happen and continue, so maybe it's time for some people to take a stand and put a stop to it.

The internet was built on hedonism.
I liked Prince better when he was more hedonistic.
