I've made dessert... A Rice pudding concoction, it looks great but I burnt the pan to a crisp.

I smelled it and it doesn't smell burnt or taste burnt but when I poured it out the pan was burnt as hell. I'm a bit confused. Anyhow then I decorated it and it looks all lovely. | |

I poured some berries into my cottage cheese this morning. (Lunch was pre-made.)
I think I'll have a grilled cheese and bacon sandwich for supper, though. And maybe some homemade hot chocolate later. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves. | |

I was in the grocery store today and saw the prettiest food magazine cover with chicken legs on it . It grabbed my attention so much because they're not really big chicken leg eaters over here in Germany...it's almost as if the cover was attempting to expand their appeal and present them as the new "haute" food du jour! Tonight I defrosted a small pork tenderloin that I seasoned last week, and I'm about to sear it and roast in a minute. I'm going to serve it with some no frills sides like steamed broccoli and herbed quinoa... if I'm not too lazy I might make a quick sauce from fresh juice I bought, either a mango or citrus-y one... | |
