I love George Carlin and Chris Rock. Both are funny as hell and always speak the truth too whether it hurts or not.

There are a handful I like. I'm not a big lover of sweary comedians. It just seems like they do it for effect. I also hate local stand ups who pick on the audience because their material is weak. That's if they have any material at all.

Humour is subjective, what one person finds funny then another may not. But i love diversity so its all good.

I've NEVER thought that Seinfeld was, in the least bit, funny. I honestly don't know why people think he's so funny, he's not. He's just dumb!

I swear I was gonna make a thread about this. Katt Williams. I really, really, really, don't find him funny. He's like a guy that makes people laugh and they tell him "YOU SHOULD DOO KHOMEDYOMG!!!111" and he does it and sucks at "making" himself seem funny, instead of just being funny. I watched american hustle last week and had to turn that unfunny shit off. I think the best comedians are the ones who can make you see the funny side of something you wouldn't normally find humorous or can bring the humor out of a serious situation.

I don't find stand up comedians funny at all in general... Watched Eddie Murphy's raw... I don't get it. Dude was just using the f word as many times as he could...

At first I was thrown by his image, but he actually says uplifting things in between "N" and "F" words.

Humor is way too relative a subject for me to try & figure out what's funny or not.
There are a bunch of people who don't do it for me, but if they able to make a living out of it, then more power to 'em ( I respect 'em for it, because, IMO, it's better than going to a 9 to 5 job that they hate ).
I just try to focus on those who make me laugh. ( though, believe me, the urge to criticize is a condition that I sometimes find myself really fighting thru. Guess that's one of the reasons for the last line in my signature. Helps to keep me humble. And for a Hispanic man raised in an "old skool" tradition, that there is a challenge & a half. ).

Pryor, Bill Hicks, Bill Maher, Chris Rock are about the only people I find consistently funny. Any comedian will eventually say something that will make me laugh. Hell, even goofy ass dude from Full House made me laugh.

Brent Butt. I know that makes me sound like someone's lame middle-aged Mom, but I love his humour. Mostly because it's so innocent compared to a lot of comedians. Who else has a bit about paving Red Deer, Alberta and replicating it with Nerf equipment?

i think mencia's "comedy" is hateful and xenophobic. he reminds me of a junior high school bully.

I haven't seen to many that crack me or have me laughing till I tear up in looong time. They're just not as funny to me either.
