I don't stay in one spot long. I usually fall out of bed two to three times a night. Sometimes I wake up at the foot of the bed and am all turned around. I talk in my sleep. I also sleep with my eyes half open....creepy! eek

I would have been first, but I was asleep. So in reality, I should be considered first because I was actually doing research for my post on this thread.

i have 2 take sleeping pills because unfortunately i work midnights full-time...no social life, my family and friends don't know when 2 call because they're afraid of waking me up, dating is sooo hard, no one understands, not even other midnight people because we all sleep differently, not everyone needs their 8 hours of sleep but i do. My room is dark and i wear earplugs especially in the summer
i start out sleeping on my belly and then change positions throughout the 8 hrs
if anyone has any good tips 4 sleeping please let me know!!! beg

comfort that is a tough one!

I've certainly had my share of insomnia over the years.
I notice I sleep better whilst on the pill hmmm I have restless nights after ovulate and again the night before my period arrives - I just can't get comfortable.

I always use earplugs, and a hot shower before going to bed usually makes me drowsy, I'll read 2 pages of my novel and drop off. If the master snores before I fall asleep I move to another room, I have no chance sleeping next to the bulldozer pout

now I've been getting sciatica again, first time in years and it makes lying still uncomfortable cry

Fauxie

On my side turned to the left with my right up bent up under the pillow, then I move to on my back and then finally on to my stomach with my head facing right. Always the same routine.

I must sleep with one foot sticking out of the covers, otherwise I overheat.

I must have two things to sleep: 1) My inhaler somewhere nearby; and 2) a beverage beside the bed. Water, milk, juice, hot chocolate... doesn't matter, but gotta have something. I often don't even drink it. But it has to be there.

I sleep on my right side in a semi fetal position.
Also I don't tend to use a pillow or I use a flat pillow. Plus I NEED to have stuff surrounding/touching all of me like a thick cover or pillows.
