Y tu mamá también it's on right now ... is it worth it ? should I watch it ?
In the first 10 minutes there were 2 lousy fuck scenes and a scene with a boy shooting floaters in the pool ... and apparently the costume designer forgot about pants

It's about as good as boring porn.
Totally uninterested in the characters or plot. I have no clue why it received the critical praise it did, but every year usually brings at least one boring porn romp that the critics love to try and turn into something profound (see also: Shortbus). Actually I suggest everyone check out Shortbus, because it's not every day you get to see: 1. Dude can't get his wife off so gets her a vibrating egg clit massager that she can wear and he can operate with a remote control. "Hilarity" ensues when dude starts sitting on the remote control and shit. 2. Annoying queen/sex club den mother sings a Broadway-styled show tune in final scene. 3. Movie that thinks it's witty and original to feature a sex therapist who can't get off. 4. Heavy-handedness galore as ex-NYC major shows up at the sex club and starts babbling to some young twink about why he didn't shut down the bathhouses early on in the AIDS epidemic.
