Have you ever ducked out of or felt uncomfortable attending a social event because you felt you lacked a certain class or air of grace to attend?

I once refused to go to a pub quiz because the landlord was a huge gary glitter fan and played only his records.
It's a mess, ain't it, sheriff?
If it ain't, it'll do till the mess gets here

I'm sure there are plenty of situations that I could be in that would make me feel that way, but I haven't been in one yet...however, I have been in countless situations where others in attendance attempted to portray an air of dignity and class that at best was laughable...you can only polish a turd so much...it's still just a shiny turd...

No...I haven't been in that position. When I'm at an event I just try and be myself, be polite, and be gracious. I think that alone is enough to qualify anyone to be at a particular event.

I recently attended a wedding at Gleneagles. Whilst out for a fag, I witnessed a few of the other guests spitting and pissing on the terrace! Nae Class!
