We made real things like pastries, cakes, oh and mince and dumplings  all of which fell onto a lady passenger when I fell over on the bus tipping over my cookery basket and casserole..
the bus smelled of gravy all the way home..
ahh bistro.. its not your age, we just had a crap teacher. She got 'moved' after our year after it turned out she hadn't been doing any 'teaching'

I think I ate my pizza pretty much uncooked because I ran out of time. I think I ate everything I made in home economics uncooked come to think of it.

It's testament to how far I've come as I was useless at home economics. I'm quite a dab hand in the kitchen now. I too made a pizza which was meant to be circular but ended up as if square and circle had a fight, conglomerating in a tomatoey, doughy mess.
Don't even ask about the cauliflower cheese I made or should I say, attempted to make. There's Joy In Expatriation. | |

and Carrie, have you tried a pickled egg ? No no no. If eggs are all mixed together and have things with them like onion, cheese, spinach or whatever (either in a scramble, omlette or quiche) I can eat them. Or I CAN eat a fried egg on a sandwich (with cheese and veggie bacon). But other than that, YUCK. |

I just put them in a pot of boiling water cover them and then shut the heat off.
