I can't believe I've seen no discussion over this HUGE event. If it's been posted already sorry.

This shows how desperate the man is. Surely you cannot even begin to believe for one second that this was a genuine gesture on his part...

The man is nuts, plain and simple. A mentally ill person once told me this: "I may be crazy to you, but i'm not crazy to myself." I think thats how Saddam feels.

i think Bush is crazier for appointing John Aschroft to head the FBI... that was

what saddam is doing here is pure politics...and he is been playing this game much better then bush...who, throught out the world is now percieved as a lunatic? that would be Bush...Saddam has thus far won the PR game...thats why Bush cant go in and attack like he originally wanted...notice the backpedaling being done by the Administration lately?

I agree. Saddam is not crazy, just like Hitler wasnt. They both are very dangerous, brutal dictators. But Saddam has proven to be very rational so far. Look at the last Gulf War: When Saddam sent cruise missiles to Israel, he didnt equip them with poision or gas. He knew that Israel would have answered with a nuclear strike. Like I said before: Saddam is brutal and a threat to his own people. But he is not more of a narciss and nutcase than George W Bush, who is a threat to the whole world.
