I'm a little worried it is from the camera, since it weighs over a kilo  and I took a few photos on Saturday, but really not THAT many.
I held it under the hot water in the shower for ages this morning, and it felt better quite fast. That means it's muscular, right? Sounds like a strain. Your camera is a fair bit heavier than mine so I can't even imagine what I'd be like with yours! I was wandering around in front of the house two days ago just testing out my lenses and fiddling around with everything. I basically didn't put my camera down for 2 or 3 hours and much of the time had it held just by my right hand on the grip, often with the 55-200 lens on plus sometimes the hood. When I finally stopped my fingers were so stiff and that night my wrist was aching so much. It's a real workout for your hands! 
How is it today - any better?
