I thought Ang Lee's version was pretty good even if it took itself way too seriously. I just can't see a new version capturing anyones imagination even if it does look better. Then again Batman Begins was amazing and that series looked like it was in the dust, i hated all the previous movies.

What I've read of this so far has me cautiously optimistic. The fact that the filmmakers seem to have learned from the mistakes made by the previous film is a good sign. I like the inclusion of the Ambomination as the villian, as well. Should make for some great action sequences.

From what I understand, this film will only make a passing reference to The Hulk's origin, but will otherwise be self-contained. It is NOT a remake, and really only barely qualifies as a sequel. Ed Norton is a PERFECT choice to play Banner, as he has always been a whiry, nerdy scientist. It doesn't hurt that Norton is a brilliant actor.

Rumour has it that this will be the first film that will tie into Marvel's newest move to create a more cohesive film universe. Some reports have it that Robert Downey Jr. will have a cameo as Tony Stark in this film, thus tying it to Iron Man. (I've also heard that Sam Jackson will appear in both movies as Nick Fury).

It isn't a remake of the TV show, but the look of the set in that pic is a very intentional visual homage to the show's opening sequence.

He isn't suppossed to be The Hulk. He is Bruce Banner, a nerdy, skinny scientist who turns into The Hulk.

...also, the name Abomination won't be used in the film. He'll be referred to by his real name, Emil Blonsky.

Ed Norton is a great actor, so I´m pretty curious about this one.
And yes, he shouldn´t be taller than ten feet...otherwise, that whole ripped jeans stuff doesn´t make sense, he´d be naked, right ?

Also, why was Dr.Banner´s name David in the TV series, and not Bruce, as in the comics ?

I've always heard (and for all I know it may be an urban legend) that some producer on the show felt like the name "Bruce" sounded "gay", and didn't want their half-naked green muscle dude to be thought of as homosexual. Naturally, this was the source of much amusement at the Marvel offices. Like I said, I don't know if that is true, but it's damned funny if it is! Hollyweird is one crazy place!!!

I believe Stan Lee himself said that was the reason why Banner's name was changed from Bruce to David for the TV show.

Just like how Iron Man's grey armor will be in the Iron Man film. And then in one of the sequels, the Hulk could temporarily retain Banner's intelligence.

I'm hopeful that this will be a good flick.

Ed Norton is a great actor, and he'll make a great BRUCE BANNER.

Can't wait.

I can't disassociate Edward Norton from himself as a popular actor now with his distinctive voice.... so I'm not sure about this casting...if only this was 10 years ago.

The Ang Lee vehicle from 2003 was horrible. I'm hoping this version -- Norton and Roth (Supa's twin) are good additions -- holds promise.

i thought it was an interesting psychodrama but a piss-poor superhero movie. yay for ang lee for trying to break from convention in the genre, but it failed.

hulk still looks like CGI, only not as puffy as in the ang lee movie, and with an emo hairdo.
