But a whole lot of it came from those big ol' hands of his. I would put him up there with Prince for being a funky soloist. Sting's inclusion in my thread comes from his bass playing. His work on "We'll Be Together" and the video version of "After the Rain" left me speechless. His "All This Time" disc shows some unexpected funk sensibilities, in his rearrangement of some songs. Oooh, I feel a Sting marathon coming on. | |
