It's official: TV better than babies!!!

According to a 20/20 report:

Anything over $25,000/year (in income) won’t make you any happier. And despite what your biological urges and your grandmother tell you, having kids won’t make you any happier; teenage kids will make you miserable.

Nine hundred moms in Texas were asked to record the activities that make them happy, moment by moment each day. Socializing, praying, sex and television topped the list. Parenting came in right around housework. See, our brains remember the highs: first steps...warms hugs... But they forget the lows of diapers and tantrums. This selective memory keeps us breeding. And keeps the economy humming.

Some other nuggets:

If an expensive bracelet brings you joy, in order to achieve the same level of happiness, the next bracelet needs to be even better. Money only buys you happiness if: (a) you spend it right; (b) you didn't have very much of it to start with and (c) you have more of it than all the people you know.

So suck on that, babies! woot!
