The Time Has Come!!!

My very good friend in L.A. suckered me into overcoming this fear of the Deep Ocean by inviting me down to Vero Beach this spring for the Dodgers last training camp there. I was like...sure I'll come down...then he says...Good...YOU CAN NOW GO DIVE WITH ME!!! And gives me links to getting PADI TRAINING...

SHIT!!!

You will be fine...if you are a strong swimmer, it will be no problem. I got certified when I lived in Sarasota, but can no longer dive because of an inner ear issue.

Don't be afraid and don't be ashamed either. I know it's easier said then done but think of the sense of achievement. hug

I tried about four years ago and unfortunately all I could think of was taking my instructor down with me.

LOL....I can swim....I just have a fear of what's below me. I've been swimming since I was six years old.

nod Absolutely. I understand the fear. Being afraid has prevented me from learning how to swim. I've taken lessons, but I still can't do it. I really want to try again and I will one day.

And thanks razz
