First everyone is OK... At about 1:40pm my husband called and said that we were under a tornado warning and for me to take shelter. I was worried about my kids at school, but didn't have time to drive to pick them up. I got in a closet and it got so loud. I heard things being blown around. It only lasted a couple of minutes and then it got eerily quiet. I got out of the closet. I looked around outside and I saw things strewn about the yard, but the house seemed OK. Then David called and said that Conner's (my oldest son) school got hit by a tornado. I jumped in my car and drove there in a panic. I came upon the school and saw that part of it was completely destroyed. There were mangled cars on the football field and buses on the roof of the school. I needless to say that I was freaked out. I couldn't get to the school so I left my car on the side of the road and ran a half mile in the pouring rain to the school. I had to cross downed power lines and by the time I got there I looked like I had jumped in a pool. I found my son safe. Thank God. He said he wasn't scared and was happy he wouldn't be having school tomorrow. My other son is fine too. Thankfully our house only suffered minor damage. Some of the people in our town lost their houses. Things are pretty bad. I don't know when I'll be back. We have no power and the damage is so bad that I don't know when they'll get it back up. Thanks for everyone who thought about me and my kids. These things are no joke. Please don't be the idiot that stands outside filming. Get your asses in a closet! Closet? No basement?

I did get in a closet people. I have lots of pictures from the destruction that I will upload when I am able. Amazingly we have our power back. I went out this morning to take photos. I am just blown away at the destruction. Some of my friends lost their houses. They were completely flattened. Yesterday was the scariest day of my life. Thanks everyone for thinking about me and my family. I love you guys. I really mean it.

You need to move to Toronto. only bad thing about this place is the Israeli living there Skiing in winter, beautiful landscapes in the summer, and free swimming pools. Lots of good music, nice lake, and canadians.
