Today has been a shitty work day--for a variety of reasons; and this just took the cake.

I work in a museum and I have to walk through an exhibition gallery to get to my office. The gallery floor is not carpeted. I wear heels. This afternoon as I was walking through the gallery to my office this guy mutters under his breath, yet loud enough for everyone to hear, "Clomp clomp clomp. You're so loud."

This dude picked the wrong day to make that comment because I am in no mood to put up with the general public's bullshit.

I was like, "Excuse me? Is there a problem?"

He says, "You're stomping around."

I was like, "I'm wearing heels!" It took all the restraint I could muster to not add, "And if you were a real man you'd know that it's nearly impossible to walk silently while wearing them!"


Fucking jackass. It's not like I was tap dancing across the floor while talking obnoxiously loud on my cell phone.

I decided to go back out of my office and walk across the gallery again just to piss him off, but when I did he was no longer in the gallery.

I'm totally with you on this one.

I can't believe the number of assholes out there these days. So many people that walk around totally oblivious of anyone or anything around them. Some act like they're the only people in the world and they don't seem to notice or care about anyone else.

People on cell phones bug my ass. Why do they have to talk on the damn phone everywhere they go. Can't anyone live with their own thoughts anymore? Those that walk around holding their cells in their hand anticipating it to ring or those that talk and drive, make me puke!

And another thing.... why do people stand right in front of the elevator door when waiting for it to open? How are people supposed to get off? This happens to me every day!

I wish people would use some common sense more often.
