was the last time you seriously contemplated what your future was going to look like?

I can't remember.

oh goodness.

I used to when I was a child, all the time. I wondered what my life would be like, who I would be, etc. But it was never in the form of making plans, it was always in the form of simply speculating, wondering. I tend to take life as something that just sort of happens to me. Certainly I see short-term opportunities and take them. But I rarely plan more than a year ahead, and that's usually only if there is travel involved.

Now, I know that if I want certain things to happen, I have to make them happen. But I often get so caught up in the day-to-day that I rarely think about the long term and what it's going to look like. Sometimes I delight in that, sometimes I'm swamped and mired down in it.

am pretty sure that I thought about the future 2 morrow ! Can't recall ?

last night between 1.30 am and 4 am

This past weekend actually.

My hubby and I had a get-a-way in Las Vegas. It was a beautiful weekend and I remember thinking, "If this is what the future holds for me, I am very blessed."

Every day. And it's beginning to look better than everything I ever thought it would be.

This whole last month. But I have made HUGE steps in moving forward in the last couple of days..so that's a good thing.

It was probably this weekend. I've been working as Extra Help for over 4 years. I need to really think about getting hired so that my future will include a nice Retirement.

I thought about it a couple of days ago. I like to live in the present and I try not to worry about the future too much, but it's been on my mind lately.

last night, but then I contemplate what my future is going to be like, what I want it to be like often...like daily.

Last night. I was wondering if I would ever have children. Would I plan them? Would they be "whoopses"? Would I be married or in a loving relationship at the time of conception? Then I stopped thinking about it. That's too much pressure! Things will happen when they happen.

This passed weekend I was filling out the paperwork for a scholarship for my youngest (Kelly) to attend kindergarten in the fall!! My last, of 4, now will be going to school. My oldest is graduated and works, my next child is a freshman in highschool, then my middle girl is in 4rth grade. All of my kids have attended private school, so back to filling out my scholarship application.
