Do balding men look better shaved?

About eight years ago, I caved to reality. The twists would not graduate to dreads. The thinness up top wasn't imagined. Who would imagine such a thing? I was joining a fraternity whose existence I'd known and dreaded.

Bald men. Cue balls. The follically challenged. The Misters Clean.

Stanley Tucci. Michael Jordan. Samuel L. Jackson. Ben Affleck (c'mon, BA... everyone knows...) Prince. Bruce Willis. The funniest Wayans. Elmer Fudd.

So, it's winter. And it's cold. And, I don't necessarily feel like doing my weekly chore of shaving the noggin. Not into it. In fact, I'm toying around with the idea of letting the remnant grow in for another week or so.

hmmm

Trouble is, I don't wish to appear like I'm striving for a comb-over. I'm very much comfortable with my head, shorn or otherwise. I'm just interested in hearing from you haired people. Which do you prefer?

Dont know why, but I feel black people (like damon wayans), can pull off the bald look whilst white people cant.

I know Iam weird, but white people look kinda silly bald. I mean, imagine Bruce Willis bald? He looks better with it shaved right?

Yeah, I don't know why you feel that way, either.

Bald is bald. Race really doesn't factor into it, to me. Head shape trumps race.

Michael Jordan bald made sense ... was dang near iconic, even.

Scottie Pippen bald looked like a 7-foot-tall, pale raisin. disbelief

I actually don't like the razor shaved shiny look boxed BUT I love the feel of clippers, no attachment, cut. It's not as rough to the touch.

I say take it all off nod Partial fuzz unnerves me - if you can see the baldness vs. the fuzz it reminds me of aging, which ain't sexy. So take it all off. & if you wanna skip your shave just don a hat...

& I agree about the facial hair on bald guys, too sexy (but I loves a beard/goatee anyway) drool
heart prince I never met you, but I LOVE you & I will forever!! Thank you for being YOU - my little Princey, the best to EVER do it prince heart

I don't advise a shaved head. Hairs are your aerials. They pick up signals from the cosmos, and transmit them directly into the brain. This is the reason bald-headed men are uptight

Why not just take it in stages and stop when you get to a point that looks best?

The one part I would think about shaving is the part where the most active loss is taking place. Nothing looks worse than having a few longer, unkempt strands surrounded by nothing.

Beyond that, just start with a short back and sides and see how it looks. That'll also give you an idea what your head shape is.

If it's starting to go then its time to crop it,

However I'm not balding or receding and its still shaved down.

Sometimes it's not the hair so much as it is the shape of your head!!!

Depends on the man, really. Some guys look hot with the whole male-pattern baldness thing, if the hair is kept really short. Others look better completely shaved.
