"Twelve monkeys" with Bruce Willis.

Gilliam has directed some class films, this being one of them, despite being sorta overlooked. Willis is great aswell.

I forgot how good this film is, particually the ending.

I thought he was trying way too hard in 12 Monkeys. He seemed okay in Thelma & Louise.

I didn't mind him in Kalifornia, Seven or Fight Club. I think he had a pretty good string of edgy-ish action films for a while, then he went all Hollywood blah-boring.

Oh shit, I forgot he was in Bashki's last proper film "cool world"

His performance in "thelma and louise" was very strictly eye candy and women know that LOL.

No idea about "johnny suade" zombie, what film was that?

Take or leave the first 2, but I did overlook "fight club". He never seems to really try hard I feel in most of his films. He's not a bad actor, he just doesn't have much screen presence to me.

Apparantly the also then unknown George Clooney begged Ridley Scott for Pitts role. Ridley was right to go with Brad, and as you said, he did his job well.

lol that's interesting, and yes Brad was better for that role, definitely (not because he's more handsome) but I can't imagine George in a cowboy hat!

I dont really rate clooney at all. Sorta like an even more wooden Cary Grant. Should stick to comedies.

Hey, I like Brad, leave him alone. He was so charming in that coffee shop scene in Meet Joe Black.

Clooney is all about that goofy swagger, but somehow I find his delivery more believable than Pitt.

I dont mind Clooney, but I just cant take him in a serious role. Seems like a cool guy though. But those "ocean.." films are vanity projects just like the original was. Still, he has made some good movies recently apparantly, but they are more independant.

Going back to "12 monkeys", at first, he does seem to try abit too hard, but after a few minutes, I think he is believable.

You wanna talk about overacting look for Halle Berry in "jungle fever".:

He did comedy pretty well in Mr and Mrs Smith.

I thought "oh man, he is gonna be fucking awful in this!", but he surprised me. He was funny and again, whilst he may be trying a little too hard to stand out, he is good in it. Not the best of movies though.
