Should I consider Equalizer ability for MP3 player? This is the year that I finally go high tech with my music!  I have leared that with some CD players the sound can be quite tinny, even with manipulation of the equalizer and other CD players have nice rich sound without having to trick out the equalizer too much.

iPods have EQ setting the same one as iTunes if you are familiar with that. | |

Most MP3s that I know have EQ's. But, there are a few factors for 'tiny' sound.
1. Bad encoding of the MP3. 2. Bad headphones. 3. Bad decoding of the MP3 on the player. 4. Bad digital to analog converters on the MP3 player. 5. just bad sound of the song to begin with. | |

Well, if you're playing MP3s off CDs, all is the same. if not, than just scratch number 1 and 3. the rest still apply. | |
