What is happiness? for you atleast!

I would like to know what the term,"happiness" means to you people. does this mean co-existing with the everyday things. does it mean finding aesthetic value in it all? does it mean being a hedonist, being loved? I'm not trying to be all gloom and doom, i am just writing a short story based on what happiness means to people. do not be afraid to answer! i will accept any questions, because whatever makes you happy, surely will make me happiness.

happiness to me means existing in a society without constant interruption, a thriving economy, and living a religious, comfortable life while people around you respect you and contribute wholesomely to the community.

Happiness is nothing more than a psuedo emotion created by the overwhelmed consciense state in ones mentality in a state of exstacy. There is truly no such thing as happiness outside the mind.

personally, happiness to mean..well that is hard! happiness is a like baroque piece it crescendos and then it falls. I believe the true way to ever be happy is to realize the meaning of life! which is that everything is in place, no body created anything. trees are just trees! "there is no mystic design, no cosmic lover preassign" feed the mind, live a compassionate life. don't overwhelm your self in the everyday. but to find this happiness people have to tread on their feet. No philosopher or religion will help. they can give you pointers on to how to be happy and compassionate take it. the rest leave to gather like ashes. Happiness you'll know it when you feel it! be aware that happiness is does not last! make it last! start the journey! once again. personally, i have not reach that goal or taken that way! i would love to. but i am at peace with my self currently. people are people..thats all.

cliché!!!

I thought I made that up mad

pout

I swear if I had lots of affection and lots of fun, I would be a happy girl.

Until then, I can only speculate.

Somewhere to sleep each night, three decent, nutritious meals a day, good health, sound sleep and a person to share my life with.

I don't think I need anything else to be happy, though of course there are lots of other things that do make me happy, including the love and support of family and friends.

Happiness for me is living a stress free life. Always having money to at least pay my bills. And most importantly, having something to look forward to. Life is pretty boring and not worth living without something to get excited about, in my humble opinion.

Happiness for me is when u've been working all day long.
I mean no time for urself to the point where u skip lunch. And when 4 o'clock hits and u walk out that door and u go to the store to get some baked chiken with lasagna and steamed vegetables. Stop by Junior's and get a slice of cherry cheesecake. Go home. Take off ur shoes. Hop in a nice quick hot shower. Come out and tear that food up!!!!

Thats happiness to me biggrin

Leave out the chicken and I'm right there with ya!

Actually, happiness for me tends to mean lack of depression. If I'm not depressed I know I'm happy. lol There's no real in-between state for me.
