We went to a Christening yesterday so I was dressed up for the occasion. Being that I am from Florida I do not own any dressy knee length boots so I had on a pair of black heels with my dress.
BIG mistake! The church did not have a parking lot, it was all just dirty, mud now since it rained the past few days. It is going to take some getting used to for sure. Even when we go out for walks my sneakers get trashed because there is mud everywhere.

This time around 2008. We got a flirt with rain, snow, or rain snow mix.

Tonight: Periods of rain before 10pm, then periods of snow. Low around 33.
South wind 17 to 20 mph decreasing to between 8 and 11 mph.
Chance of precipitation is 90%. Total nighttime snow accumulation possible.

it was pretty bad last night. glass was being shattered...trees breaking in half..

but i still love the rainy season.
