It's been snowing all morning. And I'm at work. What a yucky day...

sigh

What's wrong with you people? Snow is yucky? Thank goodness the accumulation stopped? Jeezus! Snow is the most fun ever. It makes the ground all floofy! It makes the air into a toy! C'mon, lighten up!

biggrin

It's a shame a person such as myself lives in Seattle where we get snow about once a year. Thankfully, I also like rain. . .

Doves,

It's fun for about a day! Let's see, today I had to get up 15 minutes earlier so I could start and warm up the car, spend 20 extra minutes putting on warm clothes, walk out to the car, stepping in slush,(I now have wet socks) open the car door so all the snow falls onto the seat,(I now have a wet ass) drive about a half a block, then get out and brush off the other windows (of course I don't have gloves or that long stick scraper thing) get onto the highway and all the snow from the hood blows onto the window (only one working wiper-passenger side)then while trying to turn up the defroster, slide into the ditch! Yeah, real fun, snow is. evillol

Note: going into the ditch is a rite of passage for most Minnesotans. I really didn't go in this time!

ZaZa

I spent one semester at school in Mpls. & I went expecting frigid cold & huge amounts of snow. Bought new boots, coat, expected the worst. It barely snowed the whole semester. An inch at the most. I happened to hit a mild winter season.
Went home for x-mas break & went to a different school the next semester so never went back.
But someone in the school decided since it was x-mas break to turn the heat off in the school to save money. Oops. It turned bitter cold & the pipes in the brand new school burst. It was a 4 story I.M.Pei designed building too. Real big oops.
