Do not live with a man...the house will stay cleaner that way. I have to disagree with you on this one, I know many men who are better cleaners and are clean freaks from OCD to okay we just need to clean the house every weekend before we do anything else.

A teaspoon in a teacup on the back seat of your car makes a handy guage for measuring road bump severity. if you've gotta pay for things that you've done wrong I've gotta big bill coming at the end of the day- Gil Scott Heron

Start with the room that needs the least amount of cleaning. When you're done, you will feel like you're making progress and it should inspire you to clean the rest of the place. Same thing with credit cards. Pay the smallest debt off first. This works for me anyway. Shake it til ya make it

When cleaning a bowl that has flour-based substance, like batter, use cold water. Warm water makes the the substance sticky, and expand, and harder to clean.
Not all sweaters need to be dry cleaned. Check the label. I wash some sweaters on gentle with woolite in the washing machine or hand wash in the tub. I then lay the sweater on a flat thick towel and roll end to end and squeeze out excess water. It gives the sweater shape, too. Then I take the sweater and lie it flat on a clean dry towel and air dry.

Martha Stewart had a similar method for sweaters, except hers involved measuring the sweaters and making scale drawings in a scetch book just so you can ensure nothing shrinks or stretches And that was an episode dedicated to teaching men some "basic" housekeeping tips My Legacy
