However if I was single and the other person was in a relationship then it all depends. Suppose she and her partner have agreed to an open relationship? I guess in that case it wouldn't be considered an affair? formatting [Edited 1/5/08 10:33am] I was in a situation like that, and it seemed easy in the beginning because I wasn't betraying someone I loved. But later on it was harder because I couldn't really be with her. I only got the spare time and we had to sneak around. IN the end I got my heart broken, and it was probably a horrible idea to begin with (considering I was commiting myself to someone who definitely cheated on at least one guy). My Legacy

I have never had an affair in my life, but you never know what will happen in the future. And every partner may leave you, no matter under what circumstances you met him. And I don't agree that it is so easy to find a man for your own who is not in a relationship. I am in a relationship, so I am not looking, but if I were and I want to find someone it has to be someone I truly fall in love with and that is so very rare. Others may fall in love easily, but I don't so it doesn't make a difference if there are many fine men out there as I only would want to be with someone I love and to find someone like that and he loves you back is so not easy to find. i disagree with that.. i dont have to resort to take somebody else's man when i can get my own ...the problem with ppl is they dont have patience to wait for that right one to come along.. and yes there is somebody for everybody... and for statue: if a man is already looking outside his marriage .. what makes you think he'll be faithful to the next relationship? usually that tells right there what the man is about .... Food for thought from today's news:
There are websites that detail accusations of infidelity with full names and employment. womansavers.com and cheaternnews.com Some woman in town was accused of having sex on a daily basis, in her purple Ford in a Safeway parking lot.....

Like I said, depends on the case, plus I'm young and stupid, so I'd probably listen to my penis before I listen to my mind/heart...sad but true... no offense because i know a lot of guys are like that and it's pretty socially acceptable, but i think blaming it on being young & stupid is crap. just like hooking up with someone when you're drunk. you realize what you're doing, regardless.

Sometimes a good affair is just what the doctor ordered. Think Bridges of Madison County.
Seriously though, life is too short to be miserable and there's nothing worse than being indecisive, stuck in a situation you don't want to be in. That's when you know you have to make a leap of faith-- whether it's re-committing one's self wholly to the current relationship or finding something new--believing that everything will work out fine in the end.
