But I also think it depends on the layout of your place. If you share a bathroom, and if you both like the same common rooms, you're doomed. My house is layed out in such a way I rarely run into him. He's always in the library and I'm never in there. We both rarely go into the living room or dining room, and I'm in the kitchen far more than him.

My master bedroom is large enough for my computer desk, and he has his computer desk in the library. So we could be in the entire house all day and not physically see each other.
