I ended up needing surgery to rebuild the tear duct in my right eye, and had to have stitches in my lower eyelid, nose, and upper lip. Later I had to have more surgery to remove scar tissue from my upper lip. For almost a whole summer I was not allowed to play outside, for fear of opening the stitches up.
OMG you poor thing what happened to the dog? The dog had to be put to sleep

I was just asking if the animal was provoked, I'm sure it didn't just swim up to her and just stabbed her in the ass for the hell of it.... try to have an imagination geesh Calm down. It was just funny how the person clearly said they still have "the hole" in their BUTT then you asked did you step on it like wouldn't they have a hole in their FOOT then? Don't worry. Yes actually, but only if she stepped right on its barb. If you step on its flat body (which is highly probable since they usually lie in wait on the ocean floor, in shallow water) they usually whip their tails up, catching people on their thighs and yes even a buttcheek if the sting ray is large enough. The short-tailed variety can grow to up to 6' long in more temperate waters where our Ms. Bucket lives. And in my defense of sounding like such a freakin' nerd, I happen to live on the beach, North Atlantic to be exact [Edited 1/2/08 6:20am]
