Some recent observations I have made about my beloved Patriots:
1. Now that I saw the replay of Coach walking off the field with one second I agree it was a no class act. At first I thought well, there's only one second so why not? But then after watching again and seeing his facial expressions and everyone telling him to get off the field....I take that back. 2. Brady and Moss pulling out of the pro-bowl = sore losers and babies...UNLESS their injuries are bothering them but uhhhh not so sure I believe that. They had an unbelievable season and although this loss hurts, they need to suck it up and go out there and play. Now this is just the way things go...in baseball it's the best out of 7 so ultimately the BEST team really does win. Football is not like that, unfortunately, but the Giants clearly played better than them in all aspects of that game. They deserved to win, but I still think the Patriots were the best team in football this season...even if they lost the most important game. 3. Eli Manning and Tom Brady both have a lazy eye.....seriously.

Any given football game takes it out of you. The worst loss in your team's history is a killer. Plus, those 2 guys got beat up pretty bad and it was clear that 12 was having problems. Now this is just the way things go...in baseball it's the best out of 7 so ultimately the BEST team really does win. They didn't win the title, but they were the best team in football this season. Just not the champs. Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

You aren't the best team in football if you don't win the Super Bowl. That's how it works, Carrie. Otherwise, I could say Dallas was the second best and they didn't even win a playoff game!

I'm not making excuses! They won 18 in a row and lost one. Be it that the ONE they lost was theeeee one to win and they didn't. But they still hadn't lost before that...why am I even typing? People who hate the Patriots HATE them....you only see black and white. Forget you!!!!! PS: They were the best team this season

The operative word is were. Of course, the G-Men proved to be the best team in football at season's end, but until Feb. 3, 2008, they were. Until the Boys got knocked off, they were the 2d best team in football. CarrieLee has an argument. The Colts were the best team in football before Super Bowl III. The Rams were the best team in football before Super Bowl XXXVI. And the Pats were the best team in football before Ex-El-Too. Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

Quite clearly, they were not the best team. The Super Bowl is the only way to decide that. Reg. season means dick. 18-1. 18-1. 18-1.

I would actually argue that the Pats were the worst team this season, or any other season for that matter.
I mean how freakin' bad do you have to be to win 18 games and then blow it in front of the biggest Superbowl audience in history. Damn.

Records don't mean anything either, which you should know from the offensive juggernaut the Patriots beat in the Super Bowl way back when.

Then why are people constantly trying to break records if they don't mean anything?
