Yup..the burning question Have u ever
made a New Years Resolution U have actually followed through on? Or do u keep making the same one over and over, only to abondon it completely within the first week?
One of my common ones for the past five years or more has been to Learn to drive, because sadly, at 37 I still dont know how But there is still hope...
So, what resolutions have u stuck to...and what have u repeated year after year, to the point where its probably time to throw in the towel???

Actually, I rarely make New Year's resolutions, because I know I'm not going to follow through on them.

But I'm actually coming up with some this year, because I'm determined to make them happen.

I vowed to lose weight. I put on more weight. I think the only one I went through with was adding color to my wardrobe. I decided to go against the idea that larger women can't wear pretty colors. Nothin' too loud or not so flattering, but...not so dark either.

It worked out pretty well. ^^

Did you have to ask this question and remind me of how little self discipline I have?

a few times but that was so long ago... I don't make resolutions anymore, however the year plays out is how it plays out.

One year my resolution was to quit telling people how to live their lives. I've done pretty well. At first it was hard to not give unwanted advice but it actually feels good to not get worked up about someone else's life. One of my friends didn't know how to take it. She had this loser boyfriend that she kept getting back together with. The old me would have told her to dump him but the new me kept my mouth shut. She started to think I didn't care about her because I was so quiet. I just told her it was her life, her decision and I trusted her judgment. She eventually dumped him for good and I think me staying out of it actually helped her with that choice. Every now and again I find myself doling out the unwanted advice but overall, I've done pretty well and I think I'm a better person because of it.

Now if you ask me what I think, I will tell you. I'm just not going to invest too much time in your decision because you're probably not gonna do what I want you to anyway.

I've never made a New Year's resolution just because I know I wouldn't stick with it

I have never made one...and I am not sure where I would even begin.

Surprisingly I have in the past, the ones about diet and exercise were easy. I would not know where to start this year though.

This year I intend to stick by my resolutions which I have failed to do in the past.
