My friend made me a birthday card/Letters etc

My friend made me a birthday card which I received last night. She wanted me to open it early (the actual date is the 1st) as I might not see her for a while. She stuck a pic of us from about 10 years ago on the front and labelled it a la 'Friends' calling the card, 'The One Where They Never Lost Touch'. Inside was a lovely reminiscing script which brought a tear to my. It was so thoughtful.

I think I'm going to start writing more letters. I'm bad at it as it's so easy to write an email or send a text these days. I used to love it when Carrie sent me cards. It's so much more personal isn't it?

Do you guys write letters/cards etc still? When was the last time you received a letter from a friend/loved one?

I only like them if they have something written in them, I get so mad at christmas when people you haven't even heard from for a whole year write: "to charlotte, merry christmas, love from fred" and nothing else pissed why even bother with the postage?

Handwritten cards and letter are the best.

I need to write a dear friend from home a letter but she wants pics as well and I do not have any to send her. She does not have a computer so I have to write or call her to keep in touch.

Awww that was sweet of your friend. biggrin

I still do letters and cards. I try and send cards out for every holiday. I know I love getting snail mail more then I do getting email. It makes me feel good to open a card, and see what my friend wrote. biggrin

The last I got a sweet card that was made just for me was this Christmas. Hisfan4ever sent me a wonderful Xmas card. biggrin
