Throw them out the fucking plane, or let them ride on the outside. Same with trains.

I don't know about throwing them outta the plane, but they should definitely be put in baggage or shoved in an overhead bin... nod

i think you guys are totally off base with the entire idea of putting a small child in an airplane overhead bin. i can't believe that either of you would consider such an idea even remotely appropriate or reasonable, and quite frankly i'm shocked at both of you.

didn't it occur to EITHER of you that if you placed a child in an overhead bin, it would just end up vomiting and urinating (and who knows WHAT ELSE) directly on to your heads?!?? and i'd wager that an overhead bin is not exactly what one would define as "soundproof", so the problem is hardly solved.

if anything, you should advocate for stowing babies underneath the seats.

i mean, really. is this rocket science?!?!?

No, it's plane science. Obviously you haven't been paying attention. nod

i guess you're just not seeing the forest for the trees then, because clearly if we would send more babies off in rockets, we wouldn't be having this problem with babies on airplanes.

I feel sorry for the parents.
If you think babies are annoying, try having an upgrade to 1st class, and sitting next to a couple of loud mouthed drunks the whole flight. At least babies can't control themselves. sad
