I certainly read that wrong...or did I? Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it. |

Plus it's not like you just got them a thing or two. You basically bought a whole luxury store! What do you usually give each other? Were you extravagantly generous this year or was it just them that were extravagantly cheap?

I haven't seen JWs in years.....and didn't know they came to people's doors on Christmas. My Dad's side of the family never exchange gifts. Well, other than his own kids (me & my brother) & his 2 grandkids, he never does anything gift-wise. We just ate dinner, talked, did a drawing for a few door prizes.....and that was it. I've been cool with not doing the gifts things every year. Some members have serious medical problems and can't afford it, and that's totally understandable. I usually dread his side of the family (because I feel kinda out of touch & out of place), but this year it was held at an actual center rather than someone's house.....so it was more spacious. I honestly enjoyed it for the first time in forever. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)

Were you extravagantly generous this year or was it just them that were extravagantly cheap? they were cheap i bought what i would normally buy, give or take a gift ot two. last year i got ravens watch and an xbox.(not the 360, the original one because my other one died and i have a ton of games i was playing) it really wasn't even about that they didn't buy anything, it was the fact that they had no fuckin remorse about it. for example, i found a recordable ornament at walmart for $6.98--the kind where you can put your own picture in it and recorda 15 second sound bite. so me, being the sentimental Cancer that i am, i found the video tape of last year's christmas (my mom's last) and recorded her voice when she comes down the steps and says "merry christmas everybody", and i put a picture of my sister and mom from like 25 years ago in it. she fell in love with it and started crying and i felt good that i had done something that meant something to her. so it's not like i expected a blu-ray dvd player or anything, but damn...something, anything...."hey i saw these husky boy tidy-whities at walmart and thought of you"...geez.

My extended family of 17 does the old draw names out of a hat on thanksgiving, then we write down 3 items from our wish list, and the chosen person gives us one of those gifts for our secret santa. We do give all the kids gifts though. But if you are a working adult, you get a secret santa. Always makes for fair is fair.

December 25, 2007.
I was thousands away from both my sweetheart and my family, each of whom I thought I might be spending it with. It wasn't so horrible as much as it was uneventful. It was just like another day off actually. Blah. But I did go to the beach for a few hours. And the whole ordeal was another confirmation of exactly what I've been doing wrong for the last several years, and what I'm striving to change. So it wasn't all bad. Fury - I think that the mere fact that you can AFFORD to bestow your family & friends with wonderful gifts makes this one of the BEST X'mas's for you.
Enjoy your blessings! Hopefully if (God forbid) your life takes a turn for the worse, those same people will remember your kindness. By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory!

Moms are so smart. my mom, God rest her soul, said you always make sure everybody in the family has SOMETHING under the tree. even in the years when she didn't have anything to give, there was always at least a pair of earmuffs, some underwear...anything to at least show that you thought about the person. sure i could buy my own stuff, but the fact that someone did or did not take the time to pick something out for you speaks volumes, i'm just saying. my sister offered to go buy me something and i told that it wasn't necessary, the day is done. next year all them motherfuckas get nuthin but head nod and a whassup! Give them a lump of coal in their stocking. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

My family does that every year, and it works quite well. Trouble is, everybody in my family always asks for gift cards, because nobody has any idea of what they want. My family members are the type who go out and get stuff on their own, when they need it. I'm the same way; if I need something, I buy it. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.
