DO YOU ACTUALLY LIKE Winter Weather? Or no?

Because I live way down here in Tampa, winter weather tends to be nicer than summer weather. Cool days around 70, and clear blue skies with little or no humidity.

However, I'm still no fan of Winter. It's the long nights, with limited sunlight that always gets me. I long for the crazy, zaniness, of summer sigh

Do any of you actually like Winter? Or nay?

No, I HATE winter with a passion. As you said, the lmited sunlight that occurs when we turn our clocks back is not fun, because at first it gets dark by 5 pm! Also, the ice, snow, wind and cold is not fun to deal with either.
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I like it. I love the snow and I love the cold weather 'cause I like winter clothes (redface). I just hate driving in the snow and ice neutral

Winter is my favorite time of year.

Although sometimes it can get extremely cold, I can deal with it.
And I love it when it snows just for the simple fact I love the way it mixes with the christmas lights. Its beautiful and it just gives me a feeling of happiness for some weird ass reason.

Yay wave

I really like all the seasons and the changes

I would not be 100% happy living in a place that has little seasonal change

peace!

I love having 4 distinct seasons. You appreciate each one for it's uniqueness when they're so very different. I think having long, cold winters makes for very different social interactions, makes a different kind of person, really.
There are times I love the snow. It makes your whole world quiet and soft and beautiful. When you're watching it come down outside from inside, or even out walking in it. I don't think I've ever encountered that kind of quiet beauty anywhere else, the kind you only get when you're walking alone in a snowstorm.
And there are times I hate the harsh winters. Driving is unbelievably yucky and stressful. It took me an hour to get to work today. I was gripping the steering wheel so hard I realized my wrists were sore when I got to work. And I can tell my seasonal affective disorder is hitting me harder than it has in a while this year. I barely felt it last year, but I'm just realizing the signs of it this year and it's not fun.

I prefer long sleeves too. I have limited space in my driveway for parking and there is no parking allowed on the street I live on so when it snows hard, I pretty much can't have too many people over. Unless they wanna walk a short distance. Most of my friends are lazy.

It's very frustrating hearing folks up north call their seasons "4 distinct" seasons. It's like they're trying to justify or sugarcoat the true horror of what's going on up there right now at the same time sticking a finger in the eyes of those of us peace loving southern types. sigh

We in Florida HAVE FIVE DISTINCT SEASONS

1. Pre-rainy season warm weather (Jan thru FEB)
2. Winter (last week of Feb)
3. Pre-rainy season hot weather (March thru June)
4. Rainy Season hot weather (Late June thru October)
5. Post-rainy season warm weather (Late October thru December)

I kinda hate winter. The winter blues suck the most. And for people out here on the island we like winter the first few days its cold and for the first snow fall...then it sucks.

Friggen if it doesn't snow by thanksgiving then everyone knows that the winter is going to drag in way into march and april. Thats what sucks most of all. This year we have had a real mild winter. We had one ice storm which wasn't major at all and one snow fall which was less than two inches. So basically that means we probably will have a big ass snow storm in the middle of march.

I like the end of spring and the begginning of summer. and the end of summer and the begggining of fall...

I've been in the south/warm climates at all different times of year.

You come spend a year up here and tell me how different your seasons are. lol
