I love Dali too. I don't know all of his work or anything but everything I've seen is crazy.

He like Picasso was mostly a commercialized artist. Thats why they are popular.

surrealism's fun like that. biggrin it's just a guess, but i think he's trying to make a statement about how child stars like shirley temple were treated during that time- how they were overworked, somewhat sexualized, etc. that she's powerful in a sense (the sphinx body), but still a child.
