I'm starting esthetician school in April!!! After talking about it for years I'm finally getting off my ass and DOING it!
I'll be practicing giving facials instead of receiving them! *snort snort* Mind always in the gutter. Anyway I'm very excited about this!! I've been feeling stagnant at my job and I can't see myself in an office the rest of my life. I've been at Brown University for 8 long years. Eventually I plan to get into laser hair and tattoo removal and possibly relocating!!!! Vanity is where the money is. Stay tuned! | |

My mother was a hairdresser but discouraged me from getting into the business because she worked so hard and didn't make much money. But times have changed and I know a lot of people in the industry. I also love the marketing aspect of it as well, there are so many opportunities for me and I finally feel alive again. | |

It's not about it being easier, I just don't want to do hair. I've been doing my hair and friends' hair for years and I don't want to do it professionally. And you also get a basic makeup course as well so you can go in that direction if you want. | |
