I need a 40-60 watt equivalent (7-9 watt CF) with a candleabra base and dimmable.

The real kicker is the small base and dimmable without a magnetic dimmer. I don't think they exist yet. Anyone seen them?

You can try the electric company. THey normally have information on Florescent bulbs. Home Depot will only give you the sales pitch with what they have on hand.
