The flip side is that humans have long exterminated "nuisance" animals -- especially if those animals hinder the greater "human" good.

We exterminate pests -- insects, rodents and reptiles, for example -- all the time.

The beaver was gnawing down trees in a spot designated for human enjoyment, with the potential to ruin further areas, too.

It's not the cute-and-fuzzy way of managing animal populations, but I'm not surprised by it, nor am I too disturbed by it.

But, I would never, ever go hunting...

As you walk down a street, you kill countless ants and other insects. You know this. Yet, it doesn't disturb you.

We all decide which animals are important to us, on some level.

MOST of the time its not on purpose though.

I think that killing animals to make human lives easier isn't always best..

Remember that, next time you want to call pest control for something (I'm not saying your house needs pest control).

We talked so long I missed the gym falloff

Now I have to very very vigorously masturbate to at least get some cardio.

Perhaps now is the time to start with the tasting sperm thing...that's sure to burn some calories, no?
