We weren't allowed to kill spiders in our house. My dad's philosophy was that spiders kill other bugs so leave them be.

We had a finished basement, like a mini apartment but it was full of spiders. Webs would be in the corners. I remember seeing a big black spider just walking across the floor. Believe me, my mother would kill them, the babies, the webs....all of them. | |
