Went this year with a co-worker who was my "date" we had a blast and I convinced the DJ (WHO SUCKED) to play the only Prince CD he had. So I heard the Hits all night and learned that everyone knows I am a Prince fan anyway it was fun, I didn't drink at all, but it still was fun.
awww that just.shouldn't.be. when the hell has he been home?? glad you had a good time this year though

My job's christmas party was last weekend. It is always at a nice hotel on the beach, they rent a banquet room with a wonderful view of the ocean. It is always a nice event, good food and such...but I never tend to have more then 2 glasses of wine. Booze and co-workers is not a good mix!

I went out to a restaurant with the mums from school. We cackled uproariously and whinged about our kids and husbands.

my hubby works for a large company so it's quite the shindig ~ of course his uncle and several friends work there as well so it's fun to go with them.
Mine are a'right...I usually duck out of the "shop party" (beer & munchies in the back shop (I work for a construction company), but our dinner is a lot of fun

Does anyone actually enjoy these do's?? i think, if you're past your twenties, you usually had one in the past that you remember as being a laugh, etc. So you keep flagellating yourself, year after year, by attending. Also, peer pressure dictates, you should "show your face". It's basically a cycle of purest shit
