Yeah. I used to be quite good at it. There was about a 10 year period when I only did it myself. I've lost the touch for it lately though. I always go to the same girl now and never try myself unless I just buzz it all off.

Tried, did pretty good actually.

I paid close attention to what my stylist did when I got my hair permed. I took notice of how she snipped to even the ends and not so much to cut the length of my hair to a smaller bit.

I have tried it a lot of times (maybe 30-40 since I was 16); sometimes, the results were pretty good, and I felt satisfied and cocky with my new homemadehaircut; other times, the results have been so awful that I've been forced to go to a professional hairdresser to rescue me and I always feel very stupid when I have to tell the truth

My conclusion: if you really want to get a COOL haircut, just pay for it (40-60$); with a 8-12 $ haircut you will get a random (or awful) cut.

Oh no! I'm terribly cack handed at this sort of thing. Plus I wouldn't be able to cut the back and I'd end up with some horrendous mullet.

I used to when I would keep it shaved with a clipper, also went through a phase where I cut it myself with a razor for a while, it looked pretty cool.

I do my own hair with the clippers, for about 4 years now.

I can barely comb my own hair.
Once, i had one of them little rubber bands in my hair and it got all tangled up and I could not get it out. I tried to cut the rubber band and cut out a huge chunk of my hair!
But I got the band out.
hehe Tora 1...rubber band 0 (Yeah, it got a chunk of my hair...But it dead now...so.that.don't.matter)
