My ex told me that she was fine with it, but slightly disappointed (I think it was harder on my ex than it was on my daughter lol). So when I got home from work I took my daughter to the mall with me, and went into Toys R Us...I asked her "What kind of toy do you think a 5 year old girl would love getting for Xmas?"...She asked me who I was talking about, and I said "nobody, just any 5 year old girl". She was confused but started picking out dolls and stuff...I asked her questions about each thing she chose, what made her pick it, etc...after a few minutes she was really into it lol. So after deciding on a good toy for a 5 year old girl, I took it (a doll) and my daughter and I went up to the register to buy it. She asked me "Who is this for?" and I said "I don't know"...then after paying for it, I gave it to her and pointed over to the Toys 4 Tots donation box near the entrance of the store, and told her to drop it in. She liked doing that lol ... After she did, I leaned over and said "There...some little 5 year old girl is going to get that for Xmas this year, and will never know it was from us."...My daughter smiled. I then said "For her, do you think there's a Santa Claus?"...she thought for a second, then smiled again. I said "Trust me...Santa is real, sweetheart", and gave her a hug. Trauma neutralized lol... Turned out she pretty much already knew her mother and I were the ones getting the gifts before then anyway lol ...but, yanno, she enjoyed the season completely and that included the entire Santa Claus aspect, whether she still fully believed in it or not as she got older. sniff...sniff But what a good Dad you are! My daughter is 9 and I think I will tell her AFTER Christmas this year. I'm not looking forward to it though...

Die! The main reason Santa is so jolly is because he knows where all the bad girls live.
