nicotine gum

okay, i quit smoking like 7 years ago, right?
lately I have been haveing this yearning for a ciggy for the last several months due to stress. I bummed one from my father about 3 weeks ago and became horribly sick from it. Sooooo, I bought some nicotine gum to try to keep me from doing it again. It tastes awful!!!! I am chewing one now and my mouth is on fire and I have the hiccups!
is there a nicotine gum out there that does not tastes like crap!!!!
any former smokers out there that are dependent on this vile nico-doggie poop-chew?

If it's a hand to mouth thing, why don't you try a cigar?
They aren't as addictive, and with a nice drink, might be a nice fix.

I found those things horrid too. I felt like they were doing fuck all for me so I used to pop two at a time, as I'm a man of excess shrug The hot flushes and headaches just got worse neutral

Seven years is great going. I know stress has gotten to down of late but bolster up some of that will power, coz a dose of strong will power maybe all to need after seven years. You definitely don't want to undo all those years of hard work and discipline.

nah, smoking anything is just dangerous. plus i have a kid now, so- i guess i'll just chew and hiccup until the urge passes. the hiccups are kinda funny. but i did notice i had a sorta achy tummy this morning.

I made my mom quit cold turkey 15 years ago. She was a 3 pack a day smoker, i used to randomly stuff her cigarettes with those little explosive things lol
I'm glad she didn't straight kill me. Now I have a new found respect for how she just quit like that.

Are you around other smokers much? Seeing others smoke can also develop a craving.
Oh, and can you get hooked on the gum if it has nicotine also?

STOP NOW!!!!

That's going to make you seriously sick!

If you're going to use the gum you HAVE to chew it a bit till you feel the tingle, then rest it between your cheek and gum. Once it stops tingling you can chew a bit more and repeat. If you chew and chew and chew it releases the nicotine way too fast, you're gonna swallow a lot of nicotine saliva and that's gonna make you naseous, light headed and overall yucky.

This is one drug you really have to follow the directions.
