So, uhhh.. What Did Everybody Cook Today?

I'm a girl that luuuuvs lazy Sundays full of cooking and movies. Today, I was planning all my meals and baking plans for the holidays, plus I read the GD thread on Crack Food (Dang it, Calhoun bawl!) and now I really have food on the BRAIN. I didn't get around to cooking much today because I'm alone this weekend & trying to get stuff done in time for the holidays...but I'd love to hear what everybody else had, so I can add ideas to my menu lists for the next couple of weeks cloud9. This morning I had a simple omlette with parsley and gouda cheese, later, a non-stop amount of whole wheat crackers and mixed nuts, and tonight a pot of homemade Mulligatawny soup. I was too lazy to put any more effort into my Sunday cooking adventures dead. But I'm curious to know what YOU all had typing

The next time you get a chance to make chocolate cake, add a single serving packet of instant expresso, with a 1tsp.cinnamon, 1/4 tsp.ground cloves, 1tsp. chopped fresh ginger or 1/2 tasp powdered ginger....TA-DAAAH: ...gingerbread cake cool. It works excellently with whole wheat or soy based cakes too....serve with a dollop of whipped cream (reg.or lo-no-fat) on top.

I thawed a really simple pasta sauce I'd made a couple of weeks ago (tuna, crushed tomatoes, herbes de provence, garlic, black pepper) and ate it with some fresh fettucine. It was pretty good.
