(these photos taken 1996) she was my sister's dog, but when she got into drugs and was homeless, my parents adopted her dog. She was the best dog in the world. Better than a human. My mum just called to let me know the vet had made the second housecall and within 30 seconds of the injection, she closed her eyes. My mother and my sister are crying. I am sorry

Aww, I'm so sorry to hear about Navarre. I've had to put animals to sleep already. It's one of the hardest things a person will ever have to do in their life. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I am sorry we had a nice Christmas reminiscing about her and they looked through all my photos with her in them, some they hadn't seen before. [Edited 12/24/07 3:00am]

of all the pets I've had, I've always found out AFTERWARDS. So I have been spared the awful decision making, and somehow I think that makes it a bit better, but when my parents put down my cat, I was really upset, because he wasn't even very old yet, or even sick, they just thought he wouldn't cope with the move to a new house

I had to put my best companion to rest Sept 17th and I still struggle with looking at pics of him. I do have his Christmas stocking upstairs on the window ledge with his ashes and collar. I remember last Christmas I kept saying I was alone because I had no family or friends around...I feel bad for saying that I was alone..I had Willie there with me and it was our last one together... If only I had known it was going to be our last one together...

She was at my sister's house since October, but I didn't visit my sister in all that time
