i think after years of looking i've found a new perfume!



brought a scent card home from all the duty free shops i went through on my recent trip
and it's been driving me crazy even a week later!

lol as per usual though i haven't seen it on my excursions back here at home. wouldn't that just be my luck? i found my old perfume "safari" at the flea market in arizona but didn't know after all this time if i would still like it. ($40 to boot) so i left it there. then this and it was still plenty plenty at the duty free shops. being broke after my trip i had to leave it there too.

anyone else familiar with it? anyone else looking for something new?

i want this..smells great!

Gucci Pour Homme II

as much as i like/love/adore perfume i think i'm going to finish off what i have (provided i dont get more for xmas) and stick with natural oils

i'm really big on frankincense, and it lasts so much longer than perfume...

Whatever the male counterpart to that perfume is, I acquired as a sample and mistakenly left among some packed belongings when I moved to Tennessee. Its scent has permeated a case of old papers.

A little too sweet and strong.

But, I feel ya on the scents. I switched to Obsession today, in anticipation of the holidays. Til February, I'm going to rotate between it, Givenchy Pi and Comme des Garcons "Deux."

I did just try J'Adore by them & it's pretty nice, super sweet though. My fave for the last few years is Hanae Mori "Butterfly"...

My dad and I occasionally have overlapping scent faves. Often, when I buy a cologne set, I give him the aftershave. My last visit home, I saw that he'd used up all the Truth aftershave, so he's getting it for Christmas, this year.

I've always wanted to try something new, but I keep going back to what I've always used, which is CK One. I've been wearing it for well over 10 years now and I get complimented on it, so I figure no reason to switch.

ok so so far it's "a little too sweet" and something moms wear

a nice smelling cologne on a man is very nice
but more often than not i want to actually
smell you and not your cologne, ya know?

And, I say that with total respect for the man. Our shared views on starched, French cuffs lead me to think he, too, might be a more-than-one-cologne kinda dude, too.

This is the greatest perfume I have ever smelled in my life. I've been looking for a good one for awhile and while shopping with a friend of mine a few weeks ago we found this.

It's amazing, I've never found anything like it or anything nearly as good!

In person the bottle looks like a fruity drink and it smells similar to one too. I recommend it!
